a day with the Conewago
[Get a bicycle.] You will not regret it, if you live
-- Mark Twain
this is obviously not about politics, it's about a 75 degree, sunny, beautiful Sunday September 7th afternoon (and is completely the opposite attitude of all my other posts...)
did 25+/- miles on the Conewago rail trail on the K2 [crossbike] thisafternoon. left Etown, down the trail to Colebrook, back to Middletown, then back to Etown. met a really cool guy -- 63 years old, riding the same mileage or so.
~~~
next came across Gene Clemens, a retired professor of Religion/Philosophy/Ethics from my [ex]college. shared a smile and a few words, then kept on moving.
so why this post? why am i typing about a day that makes me smile?
sometimes its really important to take a ride, enjoy the scenery, forget the little things, remember or forget the big; and remember the reasons we're here, alive. what could be, what can be, and what is are all relative to how you go about them.
